Case Study - VOX Invites
The Brief
We were asked by Swindon-base public relations company Vox PR to design invitations for a party being held to celebrate the company’s fifth birthday.
Being in business for five years is a real landmark, and Vox wanted invitations which would really stand out; they wanted ones that would catch the eye so the invitee would be even keener to attend and, if they weren’t able to make it, they would want to hang on to the invitation as a keepsake.
At Ripe Digital we took up the challenge and produce individual cards – 140 in all – each bearing a glass of champagne on the front showing the invitee’s name spelled out in champagne bubbles. Inside the card was the catch line “We’ve a glass of champagne with your name on it�, as part of the wording of the invitation.
Julie Margerum, director of Vox PR, said: “We were delighted with the invitations, they were truly eye-catching. We had many, many compliments from our guests about them. I know some are holding on to them as keepsakes – which is a great way of keeping our company name in their mind – and at least one of our guests is commissioning Ripe Digital to do a similar task for them.�
