Well

Well Managed Forest

This mark aims to certify the origin of paper-making fibres from integrated and sustainable forestry operations where controlled felling and replanting policies are enacted.

ecf

ECF

This mark ensures low content of derivative-organic-chlorine. It highlights that the pulp used was whitened using ecological processes.

ph

PH Neutral

This mark indicates the neutral status of the papers, generally determined by the use of so-called ‘acid-free’ production processes. The pH is calculated from a water extract of the paper.

heavy

Heavy Metal Absence

This mark certifies product conformity with the CE94/62 (concentrations of heavy metals in packaging) directive defining the maximum concentration of heavy metal (cadmium, chrome, mercury and lead).

long

Long Life

This mark is based on the ISO 9706 Standard which defines the requirements for such papers. It especially envisages a content of wood-pulp or semi-chemical pulp not exceeding 5%, a pH calculated from the water extract between 7.5 and 10 and an alkaline reserve higher than 2%.

Selected Logo

Selected Secondary Fibres

This mark certifies the use of recycled (secondary) pulp fibres originating from selected materials to ensure high quality raw material which are free of impurities and mechanically sound.

NAPM Logo

NAPM approved recycled

NAPM is the UK paper distributors mark – one of the first associations to regulate the recycled paper field. It ensures that paper distinguished by this mark contains at least 75% of recycled fibres.
